Asset managers

Managed accounts

Trade allocations across the accounts of clients who have given you a mandate to do it.

How it works

The structure
Each client keeps their own account in their own name. You place an allocation and it is applied across the accounts that follow you. Nobody pools anything.
The mandate
The client gives you a written trading authority. It is between you and the client, and it can be withdrawn by the client.
Your authorisation
Managing other people’s money is a licensed activity in most places. You need whatever permission applies where you and your clients are, and the firm will ask you to evidence it. If you would rather be covered than hold it yourself, ask us about umbrella licensing.
Your fee
Agreed with your clients and, where the firm collects it for you, set out in the agreement.
Reporting
Statements per account, per client. A client can always see what was traded in their own account.
