Where we operate

Where we can accept business

A partner needs to know this before anything else, so it is not buried in an agreement.

The rules that apply everywhere

  1. 01

The firms do not accept clients from a country where doing so would breach that country’s law, and a partner may not market to one.

  2. 02

A partner is responsible for their own regulatory position in the market they work in. If introducing clients is a licensed activity where you are, you hold the licence.

  3. 03

Contracts for difference are restricted in a number of markets. Where they are, the restriction governs how the product may be marketed and to whom, and it applies to a partner’s marketing as much as to the firm’s.

  4. 04

A client who approaches the firm on their own initiative is not the same as a client who was marketed to. A partner who blurs the two creates a problem for both of us, and is rejected.

Accepted jurisdictions

The list is agreed with each partner and set out in the agreement. It is not published here, because a published list that lags behind the agreement is worse than no list.
